Comprehensive Guide: How to Order Embroidered or Printed Clothing

How to Order Embroidered Clothing

Computer embroidery offers unique durability and aesthetics, however, we do not recommend it on rainwear or directly on pockets - as the embroidery goes through the material, which might sew the pocket shut. In our sewing room, we have the ability to unpick the pocket, embroider, and then re-sew the pocket with the embroidery already done, but this is a process that incurs additional costs. In such cases, we often suggest printing as an alternative.

Computer embroidery can be performed on any clothing but we advise against it on rainwear.

Ordering Embroidered Clothing: Steps to Take

To order embroidered clothing, you need to determine your needs: whether you are looking for a shirt, polo, fleece jacket, jacket, employee clothing, corporate wear, or promotional marketing clothing, or just for yourself personally. Our process includes accepting the visualization by the client, preparing the embroidery program, performing a test embroidery, and making any adjustments to achieve the perfect effect.

Lead Time for Embroidered Clothing

The order process for embroidered clothing requires not only precision but also time. The standard lead time is 14 working days from the payment being credited. It might seem long, but it's important to understand that every stage of production is crucial for the final quality of the product.

The process begins with your acceptance of the visualization. This is the moment when we jointly enjoy the look of the design. However, to transfer this vision onto the clothing, the accuracy of computer embroidery technology is needed. We create an embroidery program and perform a test embroidery. It often happens that the first trials do not meet our expectations, which leads us to further adjustments of the program. Our goal is to achieve perfection, meaning that sometimes work has to start over until the effect fully satisfies us.

Once the embroidery is accepted by us (we assess the technical aspect of the embroidery, not the logo itself), we send a sample for your acceptance. Here too, we may encounter minor inequalities, which may seem larger in photos than they are in reality. Remember, we work on fractions of millimeters. Your satisfaction is our priority, so we make every effort to make any necessary adjustments.

We understand that the process of creating embroidery is complicated and time-consuming. We want you to return to us with your next order, feeling full satisfaction with the work performed. After accepting the project, the order goes into the queue, and the average time of realization from this point is up to 7 working days.

We encourage patience and trust in our skills. Every stage of the process is crucial to ensure that the final effect meets all expectations. Our goal is to deliver the highest quality product that will be a source of satisfaction both for you and for us.

How to Order Clothing with a Company Print

Printing on clothing is a great option for those looking for flexibility in design and quick execution. The ordering process is similar to embroidery, but allows for greater freedom in choosing clothing and designs.

Choosing the Right Clothing for Printing

Choosing the right clothing for printing is a key step in the process of personalizing clothes with this technique. To achieve the best effects, several important factors should be considered:

  1. Material of the clothing: Not all fabrics are suitable for DTG printing. Natural materials, such as cotton, are usually the best choice, as they absorb ink well, which translates into durability and quality of the print. Synthetic fabrics, such as polyester, can also be used, but may require special inks or printing techniques.
  2. Color of the clothing: Light colors of garments are more print-friendly, as the ink colors will be more visible on them. Dark materials require the use of a special underlay or white ink as a base, which can affect the cost and durability of the print.
  3. Quality of the clothing: High-quality clothing not only looks better with DTG printing but also ensures its longer durability. It is worth investing in good quality garments to avoid problems with fading or cracking of the print.
  4. Type of clothing: Different types of garments may require a different approach to printing. T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, or caps – each type of clothing has its specific features that should be considered when designing a DTF print.
  5. Purpose of the clothing: Consider what the clothing will be used for. Promotional clothing, work clothes, or clothing for special occasions – different applications may require different printing techniques to ensure the best durability and visual effect.
  6. Size and placement of the print: Decide where on the clothing the print should be located and how big it should be. Larger DTF prints are more visible but can also be more expensive and difficult to execute, especially on small or hard-to-access parts of the clothing.

When choosing clothing for printing, it is important to consult with a professional who will help select the best solutions tailored to your needs and expectations. Remember, the right choice of clothing is the foundation of success for any print project.

Designing a Print: From Idea to Execution

Designing a print on clothing is a creative process that requires both artistic vision and technical preparation. Here is how this process goes from idea to execution:

1. Defining the Purpose of the Print

The first step is to understand what the purpose of the print is. Is it to serve as a promotional element for the company, or maybe it is a personalization of clothing for special occasions? A clearly defined purpose will help focus on the right message and choice of graphics.

2. Selection of the Pattern or Graphic

Next, you need to select or design a pattern that will form the basis of the print. It can be a company logo, advertising slogan, artistic graphic, or any other graphic element. It is important that the graphic is of high quality and adapted to the printing technique.

3. Choice of Colors

Colors play a key role in the print project. You should choose colors that will contrast well with the color of the clothing, while also matching the visual identification of the brand or the purpose of the print. Remember the color limitations of some printing techniques.

4. Decision on the Printing Technique

Different printing techniques (e.g., screen printing, sublimation, DTG, DTF) have their specific advantages and limitations. The choice of the appropriate method depends on the material of the clothing, the expected durability of the print, the number of colors in the project, and the size of the order.

5. Preparing the Design for Printing

In this phase, the graphic design is adjusted to the technical requirements of the chosen printing method. This may include converting to the appropriate file format, scaling the pattern, or preparing separate layers for different ink colors.

6. Making a Test Print

Before proceeding to the full order, it is advisable to make a test print. This allows verifying whether the final effect meets the expectations and whether any adjustments are needed.

7. Production

After accepting the test print, the project moves to the production phase. Depending on the size of the order and the chosen technique, production can take from a few days to several weeks.

8. Quality Control and Shipping

Every produced item should undergo quality control to ensure that the print is performed correctly. Then, the ready-made clothing is packed and shipped to the customer.

Designing a print is a process that requires cooperation between the client and the contractor, and its success depends on clear communication and understanding of the technical aspects of production.
