Clothing providing protection against cold to -64.2°C for 1h with moderate activity, and to -44.01°C for 8h with moderate activity. These values apply if the Hi-Glo 25 jacket and Hi-Glo 25 bib and brace are worn together.
Clothing compliant with the EN 342 standard perfectly protects against the cold. Working in low temperatures requires specialized clothing that provides the employee with effective protection and maintains body heat. Work in a cold environment, characterized by a temperature equal to or lower than -5℃. The perceived value is also taken into account, which, in addition to air temperature, takes into account its humidity and wind. Remember to keep the clothing dry - getting it wet can have a very negative effect on the level of protection against the cold. If we want to protect ourselves against the harmful effects of low temperatures, we additionally recommend the use of specialized trousers, gloves, warm footwear and headgear. Clothing should be fitted and properly fastened.
